Canon 70-200 f2.8

Today was the day that I picked up my first 'white' lens, a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS.  Of all the lenses that I have, this one is definitely of a different caliber.  It's considerably heavier that most of my other lenses, but the picture quality?  Amazing.  I'm going to enjoy this one a lot.

Who else would my first subject be?  Phantom, of course.

Out for a walk on the deck, on a very nice fall day.

Elk Run Boulevard in Canmore, processed in Silver Efex Pro.

One of the local residents out on Cougar Creek.  I think this little guy was wondering what I was doing.

One of my first HDR processed shots from this new lens.

Another HDR shot.  These are some of the houses that were damaged from the June 2013 floods.

Looking north up Cougar Creek.  It's amazing just how much backfill that was hauled in to replenish what was washed away in the flooding.
