I took a walk on Oct 19th with Calgary Ghost Tours (www.calgaryghosttours.com). I've always had a liking for history, and it doesn't get any better than learning a bit about local history. We toured old Calgary City Hall, various buildings downtown such as the Doll house, and the Calgary Chamber of Commerce building...which is supposedly haunted. Is this building really haunted? I don't know. But here's a picture of the building that I took on the walk. It is manipulated a bit in Photoshop to lighten the exposure and bring out the details of the shadows, but that's it. The interesting thing is the lamp post in the center of the picture. Notice the hour glass wisp that comes off it? I've taken a lot of pictures at night that include lamps and lights but I've never seen anything that looks quite like this. It doesn't look like a typical lens flare either, so I'm not sure what it is. Is it a ghost? Hmmmmmmm.
Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet Act 1, Scene 5, "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Who knows, maybe he was right.
